One agent called me and said I had subscribed for a magazine and I told I have not done that.But they said they are helping me to cancel it.

But wanted me to answer to their questions in a specific yes/no way. After the call is over, i find the credit card is charged by them , though they said they will not do that.

When i called the number they gave me to ask about the same, they said it is their call center and do not know anything about the payments and it is another department.

did you give them your credit card information during the duration of the phone call? how were they able to obtain that info to charge it?
